Before you begin
- You are signed in to the web app with your organization open.
- Which workspaces appear, and what you can do in them, follows your access. See How workspaces work for personal and shared scope and visibility.
1
Open the Workspaces page
Open the Workspaces page for your organization.
2
Choose All or Joined
The tabs at the top of the list show a count for each set. All lists every workspace in the account; Joined lists only the ones you are in.
3
Narrow the list
Use Search workspaces to match a workspace’s name, and Filter to show only Joined or only Not joined workspaces — the filter holds one choice at a time.Workspaces you have joined sort ahead of the rest; within each group, rows are alphabetical by name. When nothing matches, the page says so — try a different search or clear the filter.
4
Open a workspace
Select a row to open that workspace’s home. A workspace you have not joined shows a dash for Members and does not open from its row; how you join one depends on its visibility, which How workspaces work explains.
What each column shows
The list shows 20 rows at a time, with a pager underneath for the rest. Every control writes to the address, so a searched or filtered view is a link you can share.
Create a workspace
Create workspace, at the top of the page, creates a shared workspace, and you become its first workspace admin. To set it up — its profile, visibility, parent, and members — see Create and edit workspaces. What this page does not do
- Manage a workspace. Changing a workspace’s settings, members, or roles is administration, not something this list does. See Manage workspaces.
- Show a workspace you can’t read. A workspace you have not joined carries no member count, so its Members cell is a dash — never a confident zero.
Troubleshooting
If a workspace you expected is missing, or you cannot open or join one, see Workspace access errors.Next steps
- Choose where skills live: Pick the right workspace for a skill and publish it there.
- How workspace home works: Find a workspace’s skills, members, activity, and usage once you have opened it.
