Skill versions

Every skill is versioned. A version pins the skill’s file manifest, so the instructions and supporting files can be reconstructed later. Version history appears in the Source tab, not in a separate profile tab.

Read the history

The version picker in Source shows:

• the live version
• release dates and contributors
• earlier published or superseded versions

Version history makes usage evidence easier to interpret. A trace attributed to version 2.2.0 can be compared with the exact source that was live for that run, even after 2.3.0 replaces it.

Roll back safely

Choose an earlier version, then select Restore when the current release is not behaving as expected. Restore creates a new live version from the selected files; it does not erase the releases that came after it. The full history remains available for review.
