Gateway usage and Activity tabs

Shadow AI has new Gateway usage and Activity tabs beside its Overview. Gateway usage shows the MCP tool calls that went through your gateway, with their failure rate and response time. It breaks them down by server, tool, user, client, or workspace, and it is for organization admins. Activity lists each tool call, client session, and change to a server or its tools, with a search such as actor:alice server:linear outcome:failed and each event’s details. A row on Gateway usage, or All calls in Activity on a vendor, opens Activity narrowed to it. To start, open Reports, then Shadow AI, and pick a tab.

Improvements

  • Audit log: An event’s details now open on each changed field’s Before and After, and fold other identifiers and the raw event away.
  • Billing: Billing now has Overview, Plans, and Invoices tabs.
  • Billing: A purchase’s review now lists what is due now, what changes after payment, and what changes at renewal.
  • Billing: A billing problem that needs action now stays as a banner with Review billing. Previously, it showed once as a notification.
  • Brain: A workspace’s details now list the groups that have access to it, beside the people who have access directly. Changed in App 0.9.16.
  • Brain: In your Personal workspace, the Skills and Agents lists no longer show Owned by me, which matched All there.
  • Reports: Added Last 24 hours to the time range picker; daily trend charts now say they need two days.
  • Shadow AI: The Overview now tags each third-party vendor’s Path as Gateway, Mixed, or Direct, with a Through the gateway filter and headline.
  • Shadow AI: A vendor’s details now show its calls through the gateway, with a link to its server in the Store.
  • Shadow AI: With a workspace picked, the Overview now reads the calls of that workspace’s people. Previously, it said you did not have access.
  • Store: Added dbt, Atlan, ClickHouse, Grafana, Mixpanel, Braintrust, Amplitude, Hex, PostHog, Datadog, and Looker MCP servers.
  • Store: A server added from one of the Store’s own listings now shows an Official badge.
  • Top bar: On a page without a breadcrumb, the top bar now has a Search anything… field in its center.
  • Traces: A step that discovered or retrieved an artifact now names it and its version, and the waterfall’s search finds it.
  • Workspace settings: A workspace’s settings now open on General, Access, and Releases tabs, with a Find a workspace search.
  • Workspace settings: A visibility change now waits for you to save it, and unsaved release settings now ask before you leave.

Fixes

  • Ask AI: Fixed a long prompt staying on one line when you typed it in Ask AI in Desktop.
  • Brain: Fixed the Move dialog saying only to try again when a skill couldn’t move to another workspace.
  • Brain: Fixed the Brain home banner drawing a white panel across its right half when the app is in dark mode.
  • Brain: Fixed the workspace switcher reading Pick a workspace when you opened a workspace you had just created.
  • Brain: Fixed a workspace’s Members tab leaving out some members, its creator among them, when your organization has many people.
  • Reports: Fixed the workspace picker listing workspaces you can only discover or join, so the reports failed when you picked one.
