# Get a Skill run

> Read one run associated with a Skill.

Use `skill__get_trace` after `skill__list_traces` returns a trace ID.

* Required inputs: `skill_id` and `trace_id`.
* Optional inputs: `version_ordinal`, `session_id`, and Gateway's `rationale`.
* Returns: timing, cost, status, and run structure.
* Effect: read only.

The run must invoke the selected Skill and be visible to the caller.
