# Get Skill run spans

> Read the spans inside one Skill run.

Use `skill__get_trace_spans` for the model calls, tool calls, nesting, and
timing inside one Skill run.

* Required inputs: `skill_id` and `trace_id`.
* Optional inputs: `limit`, `cursor`, `version_ordinal`, `session_id`, and Gateway's `rationale`.
* Effect: read only.

The result is scoped to the selected Skill and re-rooted to that Skill's
subtree. Pass `cursor` back unchanged.
