# Create multiple artifacts

> Create up to 100 JSON-backed artifacts of one kind.

Use `registry__create_artifacts` when several artifacts share one kind.

* Required inputs: `kind` and `items`.
* Limit: at most 100 items.
* Optional inputs: `session_id` and Gateway's `rationale`.
* Returns: one status slot per input item.
* Effect: write; not idempotent.

Some items can succeed while others fail. Retry only failed items. This tool
refuses Agents and artifact kinds that require content bytes.
