# registry doctor

Check this machine can install.

## Commands

### unlock

Remove a stuck lock file that is blocking installation.

**Usage**

```text theme={null}
registry doctor unlock [options]
```

## Examples

```bash theme={null}
# Run diagnostics
registry doctor

# Remove a stuck lock
registry doctor unlock
```

## Output and behavior

Checks that all prerequisites for installation are met. Reports missing dependencies or broken state. `doctor unlock` removes a stuck lock file.
