# registry adapter

> Install a signed adapter from the release origin

Install a signed adapter from the release origin.

## Commands

### install

Install a signed adapter from the release origin.

**Usage**

```text theme={null}
registry adapter install [options]
```

### list

List installed adapters.

**Usage**

```text theme={null}
registry adapter list [options]
```

### remove

Remove an installed adapter.

**Usage**

```text theme={null}
registry adapter remove [options]
```

### init

Scaffold adapter configuration in the current directory.

**Usage**

```text theme={null}
registry adapter init [options]
```

## Examples

```bash theme={null}
# Install a signed adapter
registry adapter install

# List installed adapters
registry adapter list
```

## Output and behavior

Adapters are signed plugins that extend the CLI to support additional harness types. `adapter install` downloads from the release origin. Signatures are verified before installation.
