# Send and verify traces

> Send trace data and confirm that Agent Registry received it.

# Send and verify traces

1. Use synthetic data with known agent, session, and skill identifiers.
2. Send the trace through a supported integration or API flow.
3. Record the expected account, workspace, and timestamp.
4. Find the matching trace in Agent Registry.
5. Compare its identifiers and attribution with the source data.

A successful send proves delivery only when the matching trace can be read back
from the intended scope.
