> ## Agent Instructions
> To act on Atlan objects, use the Atlan MCP server at https://api.atlan.com/mcp or the SDK. To install or publish skills from a terminal, use the `aireg` CLI; `aireg --map json` prints its command map. The `atlanai` CLI is deprecated. Run a read-only identity check before any write.
> The docs MCP server at /mcp searches these docs only. It cannot read or change Atlan objects.
> SDK packages: Python `atlanai` (PyPI) and TypeScript `@atlanai/sdk` (npm). Show Python first, then TypeScript.
> These docs cover Atlan AI Registry, Atlan's hosted product. The AI registry specification and aireg CLI are maintained separately. /open-source lists publicly reachable signed installers and explains that the source repository and hosted CLI reference currently require GitHub access. Do not claim the repository or its reference docs are publicly accessible. Use these docs for Atlan-specific setup such as the adapter, sign-in and workspaces.

# App 0.9.16

> The Brain has a new Projects page for the context one piece of work needs, and Reports has a new Skill usage page. Agent pages now open on Overview, and the Library now draws canvases, web pages, and tables.

Released 19 October 2026 · App 0.9.16.

## Features

### Projects

The Brain has a new Projects page. A project gathers what one launch, codebase,
or account needs: a goal agents read first in every session, context linked from
its workspace, and sources by link. An open project gets its own sidebar, with
Overview, Sources, and Settings. To start, choose Projects in the Brain's
sidebar, then New project.

### Skill usage report

Reports has a new Skill usage page. It shows which registered skills people and
agents call and how those runs go, with a trend, Skills, People, and Agents
tables, where skills are called from, and unused skills. To start, open Reports
and choose Skill usage.

## Improvements

* **Agents:** An agent's page now opens on Overview, a summary of the agent and
how it works; Releases, Identity, and Relationships moved under Settings.
* **Agents:** Pointing at an agent's name now previews its description, model,
owner, and recent runs, and the Brain now lists agents as cards.
* **App:** In the web app, you now switch organization from your account menu,
as in Desktop, instead of the top bar.
* **Brain:** The workspace switcher now lists Personal and your organization as
two roots, with each workspace under its parent and joined ones first.
* **Library:** Each item now shows a pill beside its title naming the coding
tool that made it, such as Claude Code or Codex.
* **Library:** Canvas outputs now draw as artboards, HTML outputs load their own
images and styles, and CSV and TSV files open as tables.
* **Reports:** Added a Repositories page, showing where your agents work, from
  sessions attributed to Git repositories.
* **Repositories:** A repository's page now has Insights, Context, and Improve
tabs, for its agent activity, the skills sourced from it, and what to improve.
* **Skills:** A skill page's agent bar now leads with what needs you, such as
security issues, a failing agent, or no owner.
* **Workspace settings:** A workspace's settings now have General, Access, and
Apps tabs, and the release policy is now a section of General.

## Fixes

* **App:** Fixed the sidebar in Desktop keeping the previous row highlighted
when you moved to another page, such as Datasets in Evals.
* **Apps:** Fixed Back not leaving a studio, and a studio that couldn't open
showing only App unavailable instead of the cause and next step.
* **Skills:** Fixed the rich editor dropping code, links, or HTML from a
Markdown file when you edited and saved it.
* Bug fixes and design improvements.
